Derin Adetosoye is a British TV Presenter, Live Events Host and Content Creator, best known for her roles as Presenter of F1 Academy on Sky Sports F1 and digital presenter of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

26-year-old Derin Adetosoye from London rose onto the scene after winning the Formula E Open Talent Call for Presenters in 2020, where she was selected out of 800 applicants to join the presenting line up of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship – making history as the first black female presenter for an international motorsport rights holder.
With her background as a Content Creator and YouTuber, where she’s built up a combined following of over 70,000 followers amongst the Gen Z demographic, Derin became the face of Formula E’s digital and social media channels. She can be seen hosting a variety of their online shows and content series, including her very own travel show with Saudia Airlines, celebrity grid interviews, esports and more.
2023 saw Derin enter the exciting world of F1, landing the role as Anchor of the brand new F1 Academy Series broadcast on Sky Sports F1 and Formula One. The all-female racing series encompasses her passions of diversity and inclusion in motorsport and sees her provide coverage of the action packed racing and interviewing the next-generation of female racing stars.
Alongside presenting, Derin is also an in-demand live events host and regularly works with teams, partners and manufacturers across motorsports, including the likes of Oracle Red Bull Racing, Jaguar TCS Racing, Nissan, TAG Heuer, Porsche, UNICEF UK, Liberty Global, DHL Motorsport and the FIA – most recently hosting their annual prestigious prize giving ceremony which saw her interview Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.
It doesn’t stop there with Derin, she can also be seen across fashion, entertainment + education where she has presented shows + content series for the likes of BAFTA, Sky, NBC Universal, BBC Bitesize, British Council and London College of Fashion, acting as their correspondent for London Fashion Week. She has also hosted for England Rugby, presenting at the Six Nations live at Twickenham Stadium to a crowd of over 80,000 and was stadium host for the Rugby League World Cup.
On top of it all, she is a UK Ambassador for Adobe and sits on their Creative Council board as a consultant alongside the likes of Riz Ahmed, to help engage the brand with Gen Z audiences and was the face of their ‘Love The Journey’ campaign, adding to her list of collaborations with clients such as Sony, Samsung, Public Health England, Natwest UK, Sky Up Academy, Autotrader, Cineworld, Superdrug, Alpha Tauri, DHL x Been London.
Derin is a graduate of UAL: London College of Fashion, where she received a BA (Hons) degree in Public Relations and Communications and in 2025, she relocated to New York City, where she received a M.S. degree in Journalism from Columbia University.
